Our initiatives
and future projects
BRIDGE is developing long-term strategic initiatives in AI, ethics, and social impact, guided by the principle that technology must serve communities, not the other way around.
European Data Space "Data as a Common Good"
We want to promote the idea of data as a common good, emphasizing transparency, shared value, and democratic access to data infrastructures.
This initiative will explore a new paradigm for data governance, where data generated by communities is returned to those communities to improve public services, social innovation, and collective well-being.
AI Ethics World Festival
The AI Ethics World Festival is a global, itinerant event designed to foster dialogue and concrete collaboration on ethical artificial intelligence.
Held every year on a different continent, the Festival brings together universities, researchers, students, NGOs, public administrations, companies, and civil society through round tables, exhibitions, and live experiences showcasing ethical and socially responsible AI solutions.
European Hub for Ethical AI
We aim to create a European Hub for Ethical AI as a support infrastructure for NGOs and local governments working with or impacted by artificial intelligence.
The Hub will provide guidance, tools, training, and advisory services to help organizations adopt AI responsibly, in line with ethical principles, social inclusion, and public interest.
European Observatory on Ethical AI & Common Good
A long-term goal of Bridge is to design and develop a European Observatory, a monitoring and research initiative focused on the social, ethical, and policy impacts of AI in Europe.
It will aim to collect insights, analyze trends, and support evidence-based decision-making for NGOs, local authorities, and policymakers committed to AI for the common good.
